Wax, Shu, Yennifer, Zazu, Kerberos and I decided to continue our efforts in liberating the mines from the Kobolds. After taking a quick breather near the mine we decided to sneak up on the remaining parameter guards and dispatch them in a stealthy manner, which surprisingly worked.
The mine had two small entrances, which were echoing with the sound of mining picks. From the entrance onwards we killed half a dozen kobolds, which brought us to a central area. In order to reach the main room we needed to cross a long corridor full of traps. Unfortunately, the kobold shaman was cunning and he cast a fog cloud into the corridor, which prevented us from spotting them.
Thankfully, Yennifer's pets took the brunt of the trap damage, apart from Zazu who Shu managed to stabilize fairly quickly. Several of the kobolds were heavily armored and took a significant beating. Fortunately, we had our heavily armored friend Kerberos who led the way to the main chamber.
Wax polymorphed the last two kobolds into rats, which we placed in a barrel for later questioning at which point we heard it. A set of giant footsteps was nearing the main chamber as we braced for the unknown.
