The God of Pasture

Detimez is a prime deity, holding dominion over agriculture and fertility. He is patron to farmers and a protector of children and their parents. His followers pray to him for blessings on the harvest, for fertility and healthy childbirth, and for protection of their family and homes.

Detimez is often depicted as an aged orc wearing laurels. It is said in the previous age that he would walk the earth like a common man, bringing prosperity to those in need.

It is believed that Detimez is only active for half the year, in spring and summer. Come autumn, he rests, giving way to his other half: Hisia.

Values

Detimez nurtures and guards life. He is a protector of homes and of families, especially children. While the majority of the populace prays to Detimez to bless their harvest, dangerous times may bring them to leave offerings for the safety of their livelihoods, or to watch over a loved one. Detimez values humility, generosity, and advocates for all of his followers to offer kindness wherever they are able.
