The Dreamer

The goddess of dreams, Serien is the wife of Ira and Kiyam. In this, Serien embodies potential, secrets, and lies. Dreams can be a guiding light, inspiration to chase into the future. However, those who prefer their fantasies to the world around them will find themselves lost in her misty light.

Serien is a fickle goddess, as likely to lead one back to their path as she is to lead them astray. One who follows Serien can often question her intentions with them. She is a curious goddess who will set events in motion just to see how they turn out, challenging those of Averus and observing where they stand when the dust settles.

Temples to Serien

Serien's holy sites are timeless spaces. Often they are filled with mist or granted only the dimmest illumination. It is a place to ponder, to meditate, and dream. Some may literally rest there, undergoing rituals of seclusion in order to open their mind to the Dreamer and her domain. Others may simply choose to meditate, and follow what thoughts drift into their minds.

Some may attempt to open their minds through magic, breathing the smoke of herbs that grant them abstract visions to interpret. The temple attendants are present to safely guide visitors through this process, and aid in any follower's pursuit.
