Aigneas
Description
An agent of Carnage. Aigneas is coerced to work alongside Okita Takao as his minion and bodyguard.
The influence of carnage has cursed Aigneas with vampirism. She appears sickly despite her powerful stature, with withered hair and a sallow complexion. When revealing her vampiric form, Aigneas bears red eyes and sharpened nails and teeth.
Aigneas can rapidly heal by consuming blood. When slain, Aigneas' body dissolves into mist. She later reforms in a designated location, one that Okita Takao is able to manipulate.Within the Campaign
Liutubang first encountered Aigneas an an accessory to Okita Takao. She acted as muscle, carrying out the more laborious jobs he required and pursuing necessary targets. Liutubang followed her to the Fissure when she was transporting a shipment of blood, and later tracked her movements when she was feeding on denizens of the Drains.
After appearing to kill her, Liutubang learned that Aigneas was coerced into aiding Takao. He claims to hold her contract, and threatens the safety of her younger brother, Locryn, as punishment for disobedience.
Following the death of Takao, Liutubang took custody over Aigneas. They encouraged her to reunite with her younger brother.
History
Aigneas spent her childhood on an island of Faran Iqueia as a sheep herder's daughter. War sent her family overseas to Asuvia, where they made their home in the coastal slums until demons of carnage attacked. Aigneas took a deal with carnage to spare her brother, Locryn, and earned her curse. Eventually, Takao became her handler, obliging her to follow his orders lest carnage return for Locryn.
