Hassan Bhatt is a thin copper dragonborn with a nervous disposition. Husband of the late Banhi Faridun and father of Tamara Bhatt, Kumal Bhatt, Chaaya Bhatt, Shiv Bhatt, and Rishaan Bhatt
He runs a tailoring business in the small town of Gusi, Rajpathar . While once successful, the family-run business has fallen on hard times after The War of Five Planes , wherein the Bhatt family's home village was attacked by fire elementals, leading to the death of Banhi, and causing Hassan and his children to flee north towards the capital. The family ended up settling in Gusi, where struggling trade routes have only further contributed to the family's financial struggles.
Saddled with keeping a failing business afloat, raising a family of five, and coping with the loss of his wife, Hassan began relying on Tamara to look after her siblings. While she does not hold resentment for it, it has lead to communication issues later in life.
