Chaaya is a gold dragonborn with a dreamy disposition. She is the older twin sister of Shiv Bhatt, and the third child of Hassan Bhatt and Banhi Faridun.
Chaaya has always been an odd one within the family, always either lost in thought or lost in a book. Though she helps her father and brothers run the family business, she's never been particularly interested in staying with it long-term; instead, she dreams of publishing the short stories she's written and yearns to become a novelist.
Chaaya shares Tamara Bhatt's fascination with magic, though much like her older sister, has never had the opportunity to learn. She fantasizes about eventually learning bardic magic.
