The southern hemisphere is shrouded in a thin, scintillating mist known as The Pall that corrupts everything it covers, and it's not known what truly lies within. The name Vandeas is often applied to the planet itself, with some scholars choosing to refer to the plane as the Material Plane or as Nexus.
