Quick pitch: This forest shrouds most of the southern plains of Lorukai. Hallowpine trees are a tall variant of pine, with dark sage needles and gnarled gray-brown bark. They are well known for their tendency to split and form open knots while growing, which create whistling tones when the wind blows. Thanks to the dense growth patterns of the trees, passage through the forest is very difficult when travelling off-road.
