Default: HT-3.

This is the ability to impress those who are attracted to you or members of your sex. It has as much to do with attitude as it does with looks. If you are not willing to “vamp” someone to get what you want, you won’t have this skill – or want it.

You may substitute an Influence roll against Sex Appeal for any reaction roll made by someone who is attracted to members of your sex; see Influence Rolls (p. 359).

Usually, you may make only one attempt per “target,” although the GM might allow another attempt after a few weeks.

Against PCs: First, ask the other player if your character has done something that the target character could find attractive (please be generous with agreeing to this!).  If they say yes, then roll, and there is no opposing roll.  They may also opt to give you a +1 bonus to this roll if attraction is already there. If you succeed, they respond as they see fit, and you gain Leverage on them.  If it's a critical success, they also must choose one: 1) I give myself to you, 2) I promise something you want, 3) I get embarrassed or flustered and act awkward.

Modifiers: +2 for Voice (p. 97); -3 for Low Empathy (p. 142); -1 for Oblivious (p. 146); -1 to -4 for Shyness (p. 154); -2 for Stuttering (p. 157).
