St. Brigid... The triple goddess Brigid... Don't tell the Catholic priests this, but in all honesty, Brigid doesn't actually mind whether you are a Christian cleric or a Pagan witch - she can grant them divine power either way. She is the offspring of Tuatha de Danann turned Catholic Saint.
Her champions typically identify one of her three aspects. Brigid the Wise, Brigid the Healer, and Brigid the Smith. As such, she grants her champions either the Love, Healing, or Fire domains, respectively, or they can take the Druidic domain.
Brigid looks for charitable, truthful individuals who spread compassion and education. Tullach Port's Church is named for her, after all, and her teachings are a big part of the reason its inhabitants tend to be literate.
Brigid's champions must keep their own Sacred Flame burning at all times, or else they lose their divine powers. Such champions in Tullach Port are lucky, in the sense that there is such a flame burning in the church and the responsibility of keeping it alight is shared.
Power Investiture (Love, Healing, Fire, or Druidic)
Increasing your PI level will increase the effectiveness of your spells and grant access to new ones.Empathy
You have a “feeling” for people. When you first meet someone – or are reunited after an absence – you may ask the GM to roll against your IQ. He will tell you what you “feel” about that person. On a failed IQ roll, he will lie! You also get a +3 to Detect Lies.Selfless
You are altruistic and self-sacrificing, and put little importance on personal fame and wealth. You must make a self-control roll to put your needs – even survival – before those of someone else.Truthful
You hate to tell a lie – or you are just very bad at it. Make a self-control roll whenever you must keep silent about an uncomfortable truth (lying by omission). Roll at -5 if you actually have to tell a falsehood! If you fail, you blurt out the truth, or stumble so much that your lie is obvious. You have a permanent -5 to Fast-Talk skill, and your Acting skill is at -5 when your purpose is to deceive.Playing a Brigidine
- You can be Christian or you can be Pagan, but you must be pretty devoted.
- Other than that, Brigid takes anyone pure of heart.
- It costs 15 points to play a Brigidine.
