The ancient lighthouse on Dorchae Daig island has stood for generations. Some say that it actually predates Tullach Port itself. Most people in town remember that it was cared for by an old woman - a woman who lived in the lighthouse for as long as anyone can remember. They had come to believe that she would maintain the lamps in that lighthouse forever. And then one day, the fire went out. Everyone assumed that Aislin had simply passed away, and of course various people made plans to row over to the island and bury her - and relight the lamps. It wasn’t a job anyone seemed to actually want to do though. The people of Tullach Port had become so accustomed to having someone there to light the lighthouse that they’d taken it for granted. And so it didn’t get done. And so the lighthouse stands there dark, empty, cold, alone - forgotten.
