Born into a smaller noble family as a third son, Cristobal's parents had little they could afford to give him as inheritance. Fortunately his father had fought side by side with Navarro in one of the campaigns of the Reconquista, where they had become close friends. Using that friendship he had arranged for Cristobal to be fostered in his court hopping to help improve his prospects in life. He grew up in the court of Navarro and saw him as a second father. He took to the ways of knighthood with a passion once he was old enough to pick up a training sword. He devoted himself fully to the ways of chivalry and the church itself. After many years now that Navarro is nearing the end of his life he plans to accompany Sara, who he sees as a dear sister to the isle of Luachmhar. He will be a close protector and friend in this changing time of her life.
Cristobal is easy going with most and a kind hearted man, but to those who would harm the innocent he is a guardian and will not hesitate to draw steel in the face of an adversary. Viva Cristo Rey!
