Adaptability Powers up moves of the same type as the Pokémon.
- The Pokemon is naturally resourceful, and gains a +1 to ATK when making attacks which deal slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage.
Aerilate Normal-type moves become Flying-type moves. The power of those moves is boosted a little. VI
- The Pokemon energizes it's attack with power from the Elemental Plane of Air. It adds +1 to the damaged caused by it's unarmed or natural attacks.
Aftermath Damages the attacker if it contacts the Pokémon with a finishing hit. IV
- The Pokemon has a latent curse attached to it - when knocked down below 0 hit points, the creature which dealt damage to it last must make a Fortitude saving throw (DC based on Constitution) or take 25% of the damage that it accumulated during the attack which brought it below 0 hp.
Air Lock Eliminates the effects of weather. III
- The Pokemon takes no benefits or penalties due to the surrounding weather.
Analytic Boosts move power when the Pokémon moves last. V
- The pokemon gains +1 Attack against a single creature that moved before it during the round.
Anger Point The Pokémon is angered when it takes a critical hit, and that maxes its Attack stat. IV
- The pokemon is angered when it takes a critical hit, and is able to gain the effects of a Barbarian's Rage. This is treated as if it were a Barbarian's rage for all purposes where rage and it's effects matters.
Anticipation The Pokémon can sense an opposing Pokémon's dangerous moves. IV
- The pokemon can make an Insight check against a single opponent's CMD as swift action. If successful, it gains a +4 circumstance to it's own CMD against that opponent's moves.
Arena Trap Prevents opposing Pokémon from fleeing. III
- The pokemon prevents opponents from fleeing it's line of sight. Any creature within 30 feet of the pokemon must make a Will save, or be unable to leave that 30 foot radius.
Aroma Veil Protects itself and its allies from attacks that limit their move choices. VI
- The Pokemon and any of it's allies within 30 feet gain a +2 circumstance bonus against spells, effects, and other such abilities of the Mind-affecting subtype.
As One This Ability combines the effects of both Calyrex's Unnerve Ability and Glastrier's Chilling Neigh Ability/Spectrier's Grim Neigh Ability. VIII
- When mounted, Calyrex shares an initiative bonus with this mount and moves on the same turn. It always takes the higher of the two initiative rolls.
Aura Break The effects of "Aura" Abilities are reversed to lower the power of affected moves. VI
- A Pokemon with this ability reverses the effects of of any radial Auras possessed by it's opponent.
