The mighty keep upon the Arvaran, once a major fortress of The Empire, now it watches over the Norenes capital of Thalium. It is from here that the armies of Norenes protect the majority of their kingdom and, if need comes, other land of the Westlands.
Not once has Thal Hold fallen in recorded history, and some say that the day it does so will the rest of Westlands.
