In this campaign setting, Humankind is not the
major player in the Galaxy, nor is it united under a
single banner. In 2083, during the Second Cold War,
a North American spaceship stumbled upon an alien
warship tasked to prevent Humanity of learning the
truth, and of other aliens to illegally enter the Native
Reservation Earth was a part of, because the League
of Worlds had learned long ago that primitive species
like us rarely ever survived peeking through the
Veil of Truth and figuring they were just an insignificant
fraction of a far more advanced and civilized
Galaxy
