The party wakes up after resting safely in the werewolf cave.
Lady Si asks some clarifying questions about the destruction of the helvault and questions the timing of the werewolf use of demon blood.
Lady Si and Arlinn gives the party a potion each of lycanthrope antidote and one necklace of prayer beads (1 bead curing, 1 bead favor)
The party along with several of the werewolf clan make it to the little town of Lambholt. They are to be security for the festivities tonight.
Children are running around everywhere and those who are older seem to be no more than the age of 30.
Granny Nix, the leader of this town comes out to introduce herself.
Her and Gafilimore bond immediately.
Granny Nix offers Tom and Sylvie a home and that they are "always part of my family"
Daisy gives the two kids some plastic whistles in case
"we've been through a lot, children. enjoy the town, talk to the other children. mingle. watch after each other"
Malatesh tries to gust of wind the children 'gently'. Ends up a bit too stong. Granny Nix stands between him and the children and doesn't move an inch. Tom gets a little push of wind and thinks it's AWESOME! Granny is tired and retires to her home after that to rest.
The children run off and the rest of the party follow the sounds of blacksmithing and meet Julia the 30 year old town blacksmith.
She offers to dip the weapons so that they are hopefully ready before the festival.
Malatesh and her argue over his spear and she gets annoyed. Malatesh takes back his spear. Harrick doesn't have any weapons to give to her (ignoring the greatsword he doesn't use).

Daisy tries to fix the grumpiness between Julia and Malatesh and asks her to please do her daggers first.
The party runs into Julius, Julia's brother and learns about the naming convention in the town for rescued abandoned children.
The party gets a little tour of the village from Julius. Learns about the protective bubble that must be redone once a year (sadly, this year falls on a blood moon)
Daisy worries and returns to the area near the blacksmith. As she lounges around, she hears the yell of the blacksmith followed by the clattering of metal on stone. As Daisy rushes over, she see her dagger on the ground and Julia huddled in a corner terrified.
Julia yells at her and makes her finish the dagger, vowing to never touch it ever again and visibly shaken.
Feran visits Julia and Julia asks him odd questions about his scythe and whether it's normal and safe to pick up. She seemed annoyed but relaxes more after holding his weapon to no ill effects.
Harrick, Feran and Malatesh help Julius set up the festival grounds next to the town.
Gafilmore visits Granny Nix in her home. She invites him for tea and offers him some snacks: carrots, scones and sausages. Gafilimore devours the sausages and nothing else. Granny Nix gives him more which he also devours.
They have a lovely conversation and Gafilimore offers up the children which Granny Nix happily accepts.
How does Granny Nix know a child needs saving? She has "eyes and ears everywhere"
The time for the festival arrives and the villagers, werewolves and our party gather round a fire.
The festival involves contests and Granny divides the teams into 3 groups:
Werewolf team: Arlinn, George the wolf, Bryce, Betty, Gregory.
Villagers: Julius, Julia, Kain, Arla, Ginny.
team guest: Daisy, Malatesh, Feran, Harrick, Gafilimore.

Team Guests get second place after Team Werewolves.
A lottery is held for all the village children for the honor of "Granny's Favorite". Daisy stops Tom and Sylvie from participating.
Ginny is chosen and gets to sit by Granny. The 'sacrifice" is brought out, a lovingly created statue of the goddess of the forest, Silvanus. Ginny gets the honor to push it into the fire and Granny calls out a prayer to the goddess to protect these land and children and thanks her for the yearly harvest.
As the evening progress and the group eats and drinks and is merry, Gafilimore registers that he is starving even after all those hotdogs. Somehow smelling the exact location of Daisy's now old pocket bacon, he tries to stealthy grab it only to be caught by a confused Daisy who willingly gives it to me. Gafilimore realizes that something might be wrong with him and lets the party know these fears.
The party is worried what Granny Nix will be doing for this ritual.
As the time turns closer to midnight, Granny Nix tells the children that it is time for bed. Gregory, George, the 'guests' and Granny Nix stay. The rest (Julia, Julius, Lady Si, Arlinn, Bryce and Betty) go to protect the sleeping children.
Daisy tells tom she is worried about everyone. giver her personal horn of silent alarm. keep it secret, keep it safe. Do NOT lose it.
As the full moon shines bright in the sky directly above the fire, Granny Nix stand up and says to the group "it's time". The party all hears the howls of wolves intensify as the moon starts to turn a shade of red and continues to deepen and the minutes pass by.
