The group encountered the spirit of a woman and heard the cries of a baby, but when looking further into the room, no child was found. Later it was discovered that this was the nanny of the house whose body the group found stuffed into a trunk in the attic. She was found with several stabs into the front of her dress.
Moving further up the house, the group found a locked door and once they found the key, were able to enter. Inside were the skeletons of two of the Durst children. They expressed how they were locked in the room whenever the parents had to go down into the basement to "kill the monsters" that lay down there. This last time, the children were seemingly forgotten.
After a short break in the kid's room, they discovered the entrance leading to the basement in the children's dollhouse. Delving into the basement of the house, they discovered stone hallways and a set of crypts.
After finding a few sleeping quarters, they were attacked by numerous Ghouls that came up from underneath the earth. Meanwhile, Gust found a sleeping quarters with hung portraits of the Dursts as well as a man hanging by noose. After recovering a note from the man's grip, Gust does some looting and light shopping while the rest of the party continues to fight.
After the party finally disposes of the undead, a children's crying is heard throughout the halls leading to the south.
