The Oceanykan giant crab, as it name might have led some to believe, is massive. At up to half a metre wide and half that size in height, it overshadows most other crustaceans. Its two main characteristics are a tough-as-metal carapace and an oversized right claw, which functions much like a mantis shrimp's; Oceanykan giant crabs have been known to snap gun barrels in half with one snap. They are sometimes grown in large farms for their meat, which is considered a delicacy.
