Bluemetal, scientifically known as blenium and in some circles as bluesteel, is a steel-like alloy first manufactured in the medieval era by Ferozen scientists. It is similar in its properties to steel, but is composed of Bluetrite (a completely endemic Oceanykan mineral also found in New Zealand which contains titanium and tungsten). It has a very high melting point, extremely high stress resistance and much greater elasticity. Its density is similar to that of most steel alloys. A very specialised minority of Ferozen blacksmithing dealt with bluemetal, as it is extremely hard to work. It is a great material for manufacturing equipment, armour, weapons and vehicles.
