The SAAW is an Oceanykan combat sword fabricated from bluemetal. It features a gas tank and a lighter, which rapidly heat up the blade when needed. The white-hot bluemetal can cut through organic tissue far better than any other blade while causing severe heat damage. It is sometimes carried by FSRD troops because the majority of combat losses occur in close quarters combat, and the SAAW provides a massive advantage in that field.
