The ZiS-5 is a Soviet truck from shortly before the Great Patriotic War. It was designed in the early 1930s at the orders of the STAVKA as part of two extremely important projects; Trotsky's 5-Year Plan, and Tukhachevsky's Red Army Mechanisation Program. During WW2, it became the most produced truck in the world, used in every single conceivable role. After the war, millions were sold in the world market, when it was first introduced to Oceanyka. It quickly gained a reputation for simplicity and ease of maintenance, becoming the most common kind of truck in the country by the 1950s.
