The Ant-class is a type of gunboat mounting a single battleship gun. These kinds of vessels are normally used for coastal defence, harassing larger ships, preparing ambushes in brown waters, ground bombardment, and so on. This class of ship was built by the Royal Navy in the dozens during the Victorian era, but it is still formidable in the hands of an experienced crew.
As a single-cannon gunboat, the Ant-class has very limited combat capabilities. However, employed correctly, it can sink tonnage far above its own.
