The Flower-class is the most produced type of combat vessel in modern history, with over 200 produced. It was created by the British to protect its coasts against the now-dominant Kaiserliche Marine, specifically against its massive submarine fleet. After the war, demobilisation fated most of these ships to scrapping or the world market, which is how dozens arrived to the shores of Oceanyka. Since then, hundreds have been produced in the country's smaller shipyards, which was one of the Flower-class' main selling points.

As a corvette, the Flower-class is the smallest type of proper ship. It can defend itself from ships of its size, and smaller boats, but absolutely cannot deal with anything larger. The Flower-class was specifically designed for anti-submarine warfare, the role it excels the most at even today.
