Following the establishment of colonial rule in Australia, over ten million immigrants arrived at Oceanyka's shores. The ethnic makeup of this migratory group was more varied; large numbers of French, Germans, Slavs, Italians, Iberians, Scandinavians, and other European cultures made their way to this new, mostly unexplored yet unimaginably rich continent, with a few Arabs, Turks, Indians, Africans, Chinese, Koreans and Japanese also trickling in. Much of Oceanyka was depopulated during this period thanks to the Continental Collapse, which made settling these lands easier. Second wave immigrants mostly created agrarian and religious families, though some multicultural or majority European urban settlements began to spring up, one of which eventually became Oceanyka's capital; the City of Cestlep 🌆
