Wall guns are a variation of muzzleloader which feature very high calibres and long barrels. These were originally introduced and heavily used during the revolutionary era, but are still popular due to a number of reasons. Modern wall guns resemble percussion or flintlock rifles of old, but feature artesanal construction and an attention to detail unlike any other weapon. Wall guns are commonly made out of bluemetal and use firedust charges, resulting in ever higher power. This also means the shooter requires several clever recoil absorption mechanisms, without which they'd break their arm immediately. A modern wall gun in excellent condition with a very powerful scope, an excellent spotter, hand-loaded artesanal ammunition and an elite marksman could hit a static man-sized target from 2 kilometers across. If lucky. Unfortunately wall guns almost never fulfill all of these criteria, so they are used to snipe hostile forces during sieges. Use in the field is limited because dirt and other impurities can reduce its accuracy or reliability.
