The right arm of the free world, a name is has rightfully earned. The FN FAL is a Belgian battle rifle chambered in 7.62mm NATO, used by most NATO members and many western-aligned countries. It is reliable, easy to maintain, accurate and mechanically simple. The FAL has been used in most conflicts of the Cold War, owing to its ubiquity. In Oceanyka, they are fairly common as far as battle rifles go, though its British cousin in the L1A1 is far easier to find.
