Mithril, also known as silversteel or superaluminium, is a supermetal created from processed mithrilite ore. It presents extremely favourable characteristics for the industrial sector; despite its density being almost equal to that of pure aluminium, mithril presents a degree of deformation, piercing and scratching resistance, as well as an elasticity, which is more in line with high-grade steel alloys. Two natural uses for such a material are aircraft airframes (which would be armoured against most aerial attacks), and extremely lightweight infantry armour.
