Underground City of Ngugeka

Below the city of Bomnan lies an ancient fortified settlement, that of Ngugeka. In another time, it was used as the site of imperial courts, industries and festivities. Nowadays, while Bomnan above bristles with factories and paved roads, Ngugeka is like a still moment in Oceanykan history, its people traditional and very conservative. The city forms the only major organised entrance to the Underdown, and its economy has historically been linked with mining of all types. Nowadays, raw minerals from Ngugeka's extensive mine networks are smelted in the surface, and shipped throughout the world, or further refined in Oceanyka's cities.
