The Caliphate of Sadati Arabia, known internationally as Sadatland, is a totalitarian, fundamentalist and ultranationalist state led by Caliph Anwar al-Sadat. Its predecessor, Saudi Arabia, was born from a revolt against the Hashemite dynasty, which united much of the Arab world under The United Arab Kingdom. Before, during and after World War II, Arabia was a major ally and exporter of oil to Germany, which desperately needed this resource. When peace came with the Soviets and their sphere, the Saudi dynasty once more focused on destroying the UAK and claiming hegemony of the Arab world. They funded Zioniam insurrectionists during the Palestine War, thus helping create a Jewish state in the Levant. Saudi money and weapons were also sent to aid the Free Officers' Movement, a secular Egyptian nationalist organisation whose coup attempt in 1952 resulted in failure. One of the few survivors from said event was Anwar Sadat, previously a high-ranking officer in the Regular Arab Army. A shell splinter left the man a trauma savant of oratory and philosophy, and his escape party washed up on the shores of Arabia. After two years of insurrection, Sadat and his close associates took control of the country, declaring the Saudi family heretics. His right-hand man is Sayyid Qutb, the infamous philosopher behind the increasingly popular Salafi Jihadism. Under his rule, an extreme cult of personality was built. In the early 1960s Arabia declared war on what remained of the UAK, beginning the Black Sand War, during which Sadat declared himself sovereign of the Arab world. Though defeated in the field by United Nations (UN) troops, the complete extermination of his regime was prevented through possession of long-range ballistic missiles with chemical warheads, aimed at major cities in Europe. Since then, Sadati Arabia has embarked on an international holy war, funding Islamist extremists as far away as Oceanyka.
