The Arab Republic of Egypt is a secular republic, majority Arab, located on the north-eastern end of Africa. It has been led by President Zakaria Mohieddin since the abdication of the last Hashemite king in 1964. Egypt spans the northern end of the Nile River, and has full control of the strategically vital Suez Canal. The country is bordered by the Republic of Zioniam, the Republic of Sudan and the Republic of Algeria in a clockwise fashion. Though a prominent proponent of non-aligned politics, the Arab Republic of Egypt harbors an extreme rivalry with The Caliphate of Sadati Arabia, which was responsible for the collapse of the political union of which Egypt was a part of, The United Arab Kingdom.
