The Kingdom of Posen-Silesia is a country located in the former German provinces from which it draws its name. It is ruled by King Hubertus Hohenzollern, blood brother of Kaiser Louis Ferdinand. The nation is roughly half Polish and half German, both ethnicities are equally represented in a democratically elected parliament. Posen-Silesia was established by Louis Ferdinand's Neuordnungprogramm as a way to further integrate Poland into a new Europe led by Germany, but made up of equal nations, without damaging Germany's territorial integrity. Citizens of Posen-Silesia are also citizens of either Germany or Poland depending on their first language, but both groups receive equal treatment from the State. Its economy is highly industrialised, and many enterprises which formerly belonged to the infamous aristocratic Junkers were sold to Polish industrialists as part of the Neuordnungprogramm, creating a large and growing Polish middle and upper class. Posen-Silesia's foreign affairs and defence, however, are entirely managed by the German Empire.
