The Winchester OSS Carbine is an evolution of its famous Model 63 semi-automatic chambered for .22 Long Rifle. During World War II, American OSS agents required a silent rifle with high magazine capacity and accuracy. The Model 63 was converted to fill this purpose, having a 96 round helical magazine installed, as well as a removable suppressor. Less than a dozen thousand of these rifles were manufactured, and they are very sought after, especially within the contemporary special forces community.
