Bolt guns are a colloquial name for all bolt-action rifles, though in Oceanyka it is typically used for those made of scrap-metal in its vast underground workshops. They are typically chambered in .303 British, Oceanyka's most common rifle cartridge. Bolt guns possess little in the way of accuracy as their barrels are haphazardly rifled (if at all, some may be smoothbores). Their armour penetration is definitely higher than that of other scrapguns. As clandestine gunsmiths tend to have a great sense of irony, most bolt guns use an actual steel bolt welded to the gun's bolt.
