A joke that really got out of hand; the Farenday Pirate Navy "Floating Fortress II", colloquially known as "the Wraith", is an enormous battlecarrier built out of other ship's hulls and parts over decades. Functioning more as an armoured complex of missiles and guns to defend the city of Farenday than an actual warship (though technically ocean-going!), it is the world's most massive warship by both size and displacement, combining the capabilities of an aircraft carrier and a battleship into one monstrous and fuel-ravenous ship. Its predecessor, the FPN "Floating Fortress", was sunk during the German Strike on Farenday through massed naval bombardment and airstrikes. This event was widely considered as a national tragedy, as the FPN Floating Fortress was an icon of the levy fleet, Oceanyka's only form of a federal naval force, and is one of the reasons behind the Oceanykan Revolution. Over two years it was reconstructed by the reorganised Farenday Pirate Syndicate and outfitted with a number of new technologies to allow it to survive anything short of a nuclear strike. Unlike its predecessor, the Floating Fortress II is powered by an enormous nuclear reactor instead of fuel oil boilers.

The FPN Floating Fortress II's combat bubble is made up of three layers; the aviation layer, the missile layer and the gun layer, in decreasing range. However, its gun layer should not be underestimated, as the 21 cannons which make up its broadside have had special RATGUN Shell developed for it (Rocket Asissted, Terminally Guided, Universal). Over the mid-1960s, said shells are beginning to be commercialised by Farenday as an alternative to airpower or guided missiles. Furthermore, all of its guns are radar-guided through the ship's modern fire control system, connected to a variety of illumination and tracking radars. The ship's early warning, aerial detection and surface detection are provided by four MR-302 "Rubka" 2D S-band radars with a maximum detection range of 278km.
