The Red Navy's 1st Battlefleet "Black-Flag" is a naval battlefleet made up of the greatest sailors, officers and technical equipment that the Oceanykan Federation could muster, consisting of "confiscated" western designs and Soviet imports. Its aircraft carriers utilise exclusively jet fighters, and their offensive weaponry consists mostly of missiles (both airborne and naval). No battleships or battlecruisers are in service with this battlefleet. Perhaps this combat formation is the only one of its type able to challenge the nigh-undefeatable U.S. Navy Carrier Strike Groups face-to-face.
