Adnoartina is said to be a female reptilian spirit born from the deep religious adoration that Dreamtime believers have in Uluru, which is thought to be the coiled up and hibernating body of Eingana, the Rainbow Serpent. Her job is to protect this landmark from harm until the day Eingana wakes up, when the Serpent will eat the Lizard and regain her strength.
She is said to be a guardian spirit for those that worship Eingana.
