Elders are the custodians of mystic knowledge and lore in Aboriginal culture, and are also the only ones allowed to spread it. Typically this status can only be achieved at an old age, after decades of experience. They are usually called uncle or aunt as a sign of respect by younger members of the community. An elder possesses great sway and power within their own social circles, but they also command respect throughout the nation.
Notably, both Ferozen and Aboriginals possess very similar concepts of what an "elder" is and what they do. However, in the former their authority is only below that of the family head, and they are revered to an almost religious degree.
