The red-crowned toadlet is a species of ground frog found throughout the country's more tropical zones. It is a harmless carnivore that eats insects with its long tongue. Furthermore, this toadlet is also indifferent or even friendly to creatures larger than itself. However, this apathy might be a result of its biology. Red-crown toadlets are always coated in a toxic mucous liquid stronger than that of the legendary Irukandji jellyfish. This coating will prove fatal to any medium sized animal on Earth if they so as touch them, and can kill practically all known creatures should it be swallowed. Because of this, red-crowned toadlets are extremely prized for their poison, traditionally used by Aboriginal woodsmen for arrowheads and darts.
