The Tasman Whale is a subspecies of the mighty blue whale, reaching up to 30m in length. As its name suggests, it mainly inhabits the bountiful Tasman Sea which lies between eastern Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand, though significant populations have been found across the Pacific and Indian oceans.
Though not significantly different from others in its species in physical terms, the Tasman Whale is incredibly violent and reaches maturity faster due to its year-long aggressive feeding habits.
