Milkpaste is an Oceanykan foodstuff made up of mashed vegetables or legumes and, unsurprisingly, milk (with some salt and butter for flavour). Depending on its ingredients, its colour and taste may vary wildly, but it's usually a light beige. Milkpaste is usually served as a side dish, especially with meats. It is similar to the Anglo-European mashed potatoes, and though its ingredients may sometimes be completely different, it can be the same thing. Indeed, mashed potatoes tend to be the most popular form of milkpaste, and where the dish originated.
