The Roos Limited are a mercenary company which has its origins in northern Australia's pirate bands. A number of these were brought under the control of a particularly smart magnate, who decided to reorient their efforts towards providing paramilitary capabilities to private entities. Even the world's great powers have made use of the Roos for undercover operations, though they are known for being particularly cruel, owing to their pirate heritage.
