Caveman guns are simple muzzle-loading pistols "manufactured" by tying a large spent casing to a piece of wood, which might or might not be handle-shaped. Their only real advantage is that they can fire pretty much anything that the shooter can find lying around. Caveman guns are usually fired by striking a small hole with a flintstone, hoping the sparks ignite whatever gunpowder is in there.
