Cornmill guns are automatic pistols typically fed from 50-round drum magazines, and more often than not chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. Their name comes from small hand-cranked machines used to break down grain, owing to their high rates of fire. Cornmill guns are typically produced and used by the Ferozen, in whose homeland this device is affectionately called a "shoota".
