Model 1917 Winchester-Burton Light Machine Rifle

Assault Rifle

The Burton LMR is an American select-fire intermediate-cartridge rifle chambered for .345 Winchester Self-Loading, an extremely rare type of ammunition which is solely used in this firearm. The second magazine on the top is for quick reloading, and does not actually feed into the gun. It was designed during World War I to bring down balloons using incendiary ammunition. However, it was never fielded by American forces, instead being left in Winchester's armouries until the only existing prototype was stolen, ending up in Oceanyka. All following reproductions have been chambered in .351 Winchester Self-Loading, a far more common cartridge.

Burnshot
The Winchester-Burton Light Machine Rifle was designed to take down military balloons from aboard aircraft. Though this role is now obsolete, its design is still particularly adept at firing incendiary ammunition. When loaded with Incendiary Bullets, double all damage dealt by this rifle.
