The TT-33, better known as the Tokarev pistol, is a Soviet handgun chambered in 7.62x25mm, feeding from 8-round magazines. It was developed to replace a myriad of older revolvers in Soviet service and is infamous as the chosen weapon of commissars even to this day. During the Great Patriotic War the TT became renowned for its reliability and its ability to penetrate soft armour such as steel helmets. It is currently one of the most common semi-automatic pistols in Oceanyka.
