When employing generic incendiary ammunition:
- Apply full BURN-DMG.
- Reduce the weapon to 2 PEN.
- If any damage is done, inflict Burning.
As Incendiary Shells are Explosive, their PEN is not affected by distance.
While the vast majority of High Explosive shells contain an incendiary charge which allows them to easily set on fire most flammable targets, there exist a number of specialised shells which contain a large incendiary filler (typically Thermite) with an explosive booster. While the explosive power of these munitions is minuscule, their capacity to burn away at a target is unmatched.
