The MiG-21 is known by the North Vietnamese Air Force as "Én Bạc", or "Silver Swallow". It is perhaps the most capable airborne asset that this nation possesses and has been used to great effect to engage American bombers in aerial battles such as OPERATION: ROLLING THUNDER.
