The M8 is an American unguided rocket used in a variety of roles throughout World War II, primarily as a weapon to carry out airstrikes. It is officially classified as a "barrage rocket", a name which leaves little to the imagination; though inaccurate, the M8 is designed to pepper a given area with explosive rockets, overwhelming its targets with sheer firepower. In Oceanyka it has been the object of extensive jury-rigging, being attached to nearly any vehicle imaginable.
