At first glance Denis could be mistaken for a rabid animal. He is animalistic, speaks weird, definitely insane, and holds a monstrosity in the form of a tiny mimic called Alfred that looks like a book. Even though he has probably forgotten how to read.
He is fond of alchemy and creating both healing and damaging potions. These are made from his make-shift work shop in a hovel on the outskirts of Thyr Morgan City.
Later we learned that he is actually a champion of Murk who was send to Thyr Morgan to prevent the darkness from escaping. Upon returning his memories Denis also regained the use of his magical abilities that were unused for the past 20 years.
