The wood elves of Havilon live in harmony in the Greenwood Glades, just shy of the Great Chain mountains. The jungle forest is a haven of fey and druidic magic on the border of the Elven Aristocracy. Upon death, wood elves of the Greenwood Glades or anywhere with a strong woodland connection are born into trees. This means the wood elf joins a grove and lives a second life as part of a hivemind.
